Do sliding tracks always need brackets?

Interior sliding doors

Wall fixations always require brackets to be installed into the wall. Sliding tracks can also be installed directly into the ceiling without brackets. The tracks included in our complete fitting sets have ready-made holes for the purpose of fixing them into the ceiling. Suitable screws must be used when fixing tracks to the ceiling to ensure the weight capacity of the track.

Brackets are recommended when fixing heavy series (150–2000) to the wall or ceiling. This ensures that the sliding track is fixed firmly to the support structure.
