Pocket door touch latch – Activate your sliding door with a single touch
A pocket door slides into the wall – but how do you easily pull it back out?
The touch latch, or push-to-open mechanism, brings a new level of convenience and minimalist design to sliding doors. A light push on the edge of the door is all it takes – the latch pushes the door out from inside the wall, eliminating the need for a handle on the door edge.
✔ One push – door pops out from inside the wall
✔ Door hides completely inside the wall
✔ Leaves the doorway completely unobstructed
✔ No need for a pull handle – clean and sleek look on the door edge
✔ Quick and easy installation
✔ Can also be retrofitted
The video below demonstrates the touch latch in action under test conditions.
Note: The mechanism is shown without walls to clearly display its operation – in a real installation, the door slides inside the wall structure.
Quick and easy installation
Drill a 20–22 mm hole in the door, insert the latch, and secure it with two screws. That’s it – a discreet yet effective detail that makes using the door effortless.
