Maintenance and garbage storage sliding doors open safely

Big garbage and maintenance storage doors were installed for Clarion hotel at Helsinki Airport. A large garbage press among other maintenance equipment had to fit into the storage. The door opening was about 6 meters wide and about 4 meters high, so sliding doors were the best option for the project. Since the doors are kept open for long periods, it was better to use sliding doors that are more unconspicuous and do not take space on either side of the opening. 3 massive doors were chosen for the opening. Together the sliding doors close the whole opening according to the sliding door tracks lines.

Helaform’s sliding door systems were chosen for the project and 300/500 series was determed to be the best series for the project.
