The unique wooden sliding door brought the solution to the wide doorway

A unique wooden sliding door was built into this customer’s detached house between the living room and the “piano room” as a space divider. The door opening was wider than the standard opening, so a sliding door was a natural choice at this location. The plans, the door leaf and the installation were carried out by the customer himself and the Helaform 75 Flow sliding track system was used as the sliding door equipment. The stylish and unique lined wooden door brings much-needed tranquility to a space that otherwise has a lot of glass surface.

The Flow track was painted white at the customer’s request. Soft close were installed on both closing and opening ends of the sliding track to bring comfort and safety to everyday use of the sliding door. At the same time, Soft close brings durability to the entire sliding door, as this heavier-than-normal door would also strain structures when stopped without a damper.

With the sliding door, the spaces can now either be separated or combined into an open whole, and the beatiful sliding door with white track acts as an interior element in itself.
