Protective curtains in welding booths are safe and easy to use

AEL-Amiedu educate welding professionals for the needs of the construction and engineering industries. The training facilities are located in Taitotalo in Pitäjänmäki. Helaform delivered nearly 140 meters of sliding tracks for welding booth´s protect curtains to these premises.

The products used were 100-series sliding tracks, curtain hangers and stops. The tracks were mounted with wall brackets attached to the steel frames supporting the booths. At the corners, the track were welded together with support pieces and supported with additional supports. The stops were installed at only a few points to allow the curtains to move freely from place to place along the entire length of the long track lines. Fire-safe curtains were attached to the S-hook from the “sail rings”, which were connected to the curtain hangers.

The training facilities now have working protect curtains for welding for years to come.
